In 2012, to coincide with the launch of the Under 17 Car Club Charitable Trust, the Club reached out to those Members that left the Club between 2006 and 2011. This allowed us to build on the results of the 2006 survey and cement our knowledge that our ex-members are better drivers than those who don't experience the Club methodology.

The key findings of this report show that ex-Club Members are more likely to pass their practical Driving test on the first occasion, less likely to be involved in an accident, less likely to be convicted of a motoring offence and have a higher propensity toward taking advanced driving tests.
This report seeks to highlight the huge benefits that are accrued by those who attend the Club. Most important this report shows how the Club is not only beneficial to its members but also other drivers on the road. The Club is a safe environment in which those under the age of 17 can learn to drive.
